Surviving the Holidays After Loss

For the person facing the empty chair, the changed tradition, and the season that does not feel the same

The holidays can be one of the hardest seasons after loss.

This message helps grieving people face Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries, and family gatherings with honesty, faith, and practical support.

Michelle speaks to the real ache of traditions that now hurt, songs that open grief, family expectations, and the pressure to make everything feel normal when life has changed.

Best for: holiday grief events, church services, women’s ministry nights, grief groups, community remembrance gatherings

Jesus Wept

Making room for sorrow in the presence of a Savior who understands

This message is rooted in the truth that Jesus stood at a tomb and wept.

Michelle speaks about lament, tears, faith, resurrection hope, and what it means that Christ does not stand far from the brokenhearted.

This message is for people who need to know that grief is not a failure of faith and sorrow is not something God is afraid of.

Best for: church services, grief events, women’s gatherings, memorial services, care ministry events

The Truth Beneath Her Story

For the woman who has carried old labels too long

This message speaks to women who have lived under names God never gave them.

Too much.
Not enough.
Forgotten.
Rejected.
Difficult.
Unworthy.
Invisible.
Broken.

Michelle invites women to look beneath shame, survival, people-pleasing, grief, old wounds, and painful chapters to rediscover the truth of who they are in Christ.

Best for: women’s conferences, retreats, identity events, church services, Storybrook-themed gatherings

For the One

A message about seeing the person everyone else may overlook

This message is close to Michelle’s chaplain heart.

It is about the one who is difficult to love.
The one sitting alone.
The one whose story makes people uncomfortable.
The one who is angry, ashamed, grieving, guarded, or hard to reach.
The one Jesus still sees.

Drawing from Scripture and ministry experience, Michelle speaks about compassion, presence, and the calling to see people through the eyes of Christ.

Best for: church services, ministry trainings, chaplaincy events, care teams, women’s events, outreach ministries

Spiritual Heaviness and the God Who Stays

For the woman who loves God but feels tired in her soul

Some women are not walking away from God.

They are weary.

They are still praying, still serving, still showing up, still believing — but something in them feels heavy.

This message speaks to the woman carrying emotional, spiritual, or life-worn heaviness. Michelle shares honestly about faith, wounds, healing, and the God who does not shame the tired soul.

Best for: women’s events, retreats, church services, ministry encouragement nights, spiritual renewal gatherings

When Grief Changes You

Finding yourself after life no longer looks the same

Loss does not only change what is around us.

It changes us.

This message explores identity after loss — the roles that shift, the routines that disappear, the parts of life that no longer fit, and the question many grieving people eventually ask:

Who am I now?

Michelle helps women name the way grief reshapes life while pointing them toward the God who remains present in the becoming.

Best for: grief groups, women’s events, retreats, bereavement gatherings, counseling ministry events

The Next Faithful Step

For women standing between chapters

This message is for women in transition.

After loss.
After caregiving.
After motherhood changes.
After divorce or relationship pain.
After a season of survival.
After realizing life does not look the way they thought it would.

Michelle speaks about discernment, courage, surrender, and following God when He gives enough light for the next step, but not the whole road.

Best for: women’s conferences, retreats, coaching events, church services, leadership gatherings

The Little House That Loved the Rain

A Storybrook grief message about memory, love, and the things that remain

Based on the heart behind Michelle’s grief story, this message uses story, remembrance, and faith to help people process love after loss.

It speaks to the way ordinary things become sacred after someone dies — songs, rain, houses, recipes, phrases, places, and memories that still carry love.

This message can be especially meaningful for women’s events, grief gatherings, Mother’s Day events, and remembrance services.

Best for: grief events, women’s gatherings, memorial services, Mother’s Day events, Storybrook-themed gatherings

God Does Not Waste a Chapter

A message of hope for the woman who wishes parts of her story had been different

This message speaks to women who have lived through painful, confusing, or unwanted chapters.

Michelle does not minimize the pain or call everything good. Instead, she points to the God who redeems, restores, teaches, heals, and remains present even in chapters we would not have chosen.

This message is for the woman who needs hope without pretending.

Best for: women’s conferences, retreats, church services, identity events, ministry nights

A Note from Michelle

When I think about speaking, I do not think first about a stage.

I think about the woman in the room.

The one who came because someone invited her.
The one who almost stayed home.
The one who is grieving but still serving.
The one who loves God but feels heavy.
The one who is tired of pretending she is fine.
The one who needs a sentence, a Scripture, a story, or a moment where the Holy Spirit reminds her, “I see you.”

That is who I pray for when I prepare.

My desire is never just to give a well-organized talk.

My desire is to minister.

To tell the truth with care.
To honor the Word of God.
To speak honestly about pain without leaving people hopeless.
To help women recognize where God has been present in their own stories.
To reach the one who needs to know she has not been forgotten.

If something on this page stirs in your heart for your church, group, or event, I would be honored to talk with you about what God may want to do there.
